Welcome to Briggs Models!
There are some new and interesting products on this site, in various scales. No HO Scale yet...but if something comes along that I find interesting I may decide to produce it. I tend to stay out of the mainstream scales and production avenues.
The kits listed on my site are currently available. Please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery. The S scale speeder listed on my site is very close to shipment. If you are interested, please email me and I will place you on my speeder mailing list. I have updated the Speeder page with new information on the status of the project.
The majority of the products I have listed on this site are resin and etched metal. I do all of the design and pre-production work myself for my product line. I use computer aided drafting (CAD) and computer aided manufacturing (CAM) to create most of the parts for the kits, but there is still a lot of hand work to do to get a product ready for market.
Since beginning as a manufacturer in 1995, I have done work for companies such as Kaslo Shops Distributing, Pacific Mountain Scale Shops, and Wright Trak Railroad Models. I have also completed many independent projects for companies and individuals, as well as projects under the label of Briggs Models.
I also do custom development and production work, so if you have the need for these resources, please contact me for more information.
I do sell through hobby shops. Dealers should feel free to contact me regarding discounts, shipping, invoicing, and payment information. Send me an email with any questions you might have.
This site is new and currently a little rough, and I intend to make changes to it on a frequent basis, so please check for updates and new products. Browse through and take a look at the products that I offer. If you are interested in anything you see, or you feel that you need more information, please go to the order page for shipment and payment information.
There is now a Yahoo group for Briggs Models. This is for people who have purchased or want to purchase Briggs Models kits and would like to discuss their models and how they built them. If you post your questions and ideas on this group, then everyone benefits! Please also feel free to post new product ideas.
